FlexChem Gaskets

Three types of gasket materials are available from SciGene for use with FlexChem polypropylene or Teflon® reactor blocks. Each will reliably seal the reactors but may not be reusable under some conditions.

Select the gasket for your application:

• Natural rubber has narrow chemical resistance but can be inexpensively replaced between runs. [Cat. #1052-03-1 and Cat. #1052-13-1 (50/pk)]
• Viton® has broader chemical resistance (including methylene chloride) and can be reused within its range of compatible solvents. [Cat. #1052-03-0and Cat. #1052-13-0 (50/pk)]
• Chemtuf-III™, available exclusively from SciGene, is a Teflon laminate with outstanding chemical resistance. [Cat. #1052-13-3 and Cat. #1052-13-4 (10/pk)]

The three gasket materials make FlexChem Synthesis Systems a versatile tool that can be used under a wide variety of solvent and temperature conditions.
