ArrayPrep aCGH Genomic Labeling Kit

Use with the ArrayPrep® Target Preparation System

Kit reagents are supplied in a 24-well plate sufficient for performing up to 32 (16 Alexa-3 / 16 Alexa-5) reactions. After thawing, the reagent plate is placed on the deck of the ArrayPrep® Target Preparation System along with the DNA samples to be labeled. The instrument performs all reagent additions and incubations using integrated temperature controlled blocks. Subsequent purification of the labeled DNA using magnetic beads is also automated; providing labeled material ready for hybridization.

Eliminates Costly Reagent Handling Errors

The kit arrives ready to use with the required volumes of labeling reagents pre-aliquoted in a 3 x 8 well PCR plate. Pipetting mistakes that waste costly reagents and ruin precious samples are eliminated.

Uses Exo Klenow and Alexa Dyes for Higher Signals

The combination of Exonuclease minus Klenow DNA polymerase and Alexa labeled nucleotides in the ArrayPrep® aCGH Genomic Labeling System produce greater yields of amplified labeled product resulting in higher signal intensities on microarrays compared to Cyanine dyes (1).

Priced up to 50% Less than Other Labeling Kits

The ArrayPrep® aCGH Genomic Labeling System is priced well below more complicated, multi-component manual labeling kits, resulting in significant annual savings in reagent costs.

A Superior Chemistry, Packaged Ready to Use for 32 Reactions

The ArrayPrep® aCGH Genomic Labeling System is powered by the widely used BioPrime® DNA labeling chemistry from Invitrogen (a division of Life Technologies). The kit has three components: master mixes (2) containing random primers and Alexa* dye labeled nucleotides, and Klenow fragment DNA polymerase. Following an “add and incubate” method, master mix is added to the DNA sample and briefly heated. Polymerase is added and the sample is incubated for two hours.
