| Overview | ||
Roche NimbleGen methods for labeling samples and performing hybridization and post-hybridization processing of arrays have a multitude of reagent, labware and device handling steps. The complexity of the methods provide entry points for errors that can result in variable test results. SciGene instruments automate and simplify the manual procedures used with Roche NimbleGen microarrays from sample preparation through slide processing for improved test reliability and lowered cost. |

TechnologySciGene provides a family of instruments that work together to automate the workflow used in Roche NimbleGen microarrays from sample isolation and labeling through array hybridization and post-hybridization processing. The ArrayPrep™ Target Preparation System is a reagent handling and incubation platform specially designed for amplifying/labeling and then loading DNA onto microarrays. The Mai Tai® Hybridization System accommodates robotic sample loading and applies bubble mixing technology during incubation of multiple slides for all Roche NimbleGen array formats. The Little Dipper® Processor with NoZone® Workspace automates Roche NimbleGen’s recommended protocols for washing and drying of arrays in an ozone-safe environment presenting slides ready for scanning. |
