SciGene Launches an Ozone-Safe Microarray Workspace

November 16, 2006, Sunnyvale, CA — SciGene has introduced the NoZone® TL Workspace, a new benchtop system for maintaining an ozone safe environment when operating microarray scanning and processing equipment.

The system is composed of acrylic panels that come ready for final assembly to form a sealed compartment with swing-out doors. An external ozone filtration unit continuously pumps ozone-free air into the enclosure maintaining the ozone level below 5 ppb, regardless of ambient ozone levels.

The enclosed space is of sufficient size for Agilent and other microarray scanners as well as the Little Dipper™ Microarray Processor.
