SciGene Introduces the BriteSpot™ Microarray Workstation
Standardizes and Automates Microarray Processing
May 18, 2006, Sunnyvale, CA — SciGene today introduced the BriteSpot Microarray Workstation for genomic and proteomic research. Developed in cooperation with leading microarray laboratories, the BriteSpot™ Workstation standardizes and automates microarray hybridization, washing and drying in an ozone-safe environment.
The system increases array throughput and reproducibility that can improve microarray data quality by controlling the human, physical and environmental factors that contribute to variability.
By automating and controlling critical elements in the process, including hybridization, wash temperature, agitation and exposure to ozone, the BriteSpot™ Workstation minimizes data variation from non-biological sources.
