SciGene Signs Woongbee as Exclusive Distributor in Korea
Sales of Automated Microarray Processing Equipment to Reach Expanding Market
May 2 , 2005, Sunnyvale, CA — SciGene Corporation announced today the signing of an exclusive agreement with Woongbee MeDiTech, Inc. of Seoul, Korea for the sale and support of SciGene products in Korea. Other terms were not disclosed.
Woongbee MeDiTech, Inc. is an established distributor of biotechnology instrumentation products for clinicians and diagnostic researchers. “We are especially delighted to promote SciGene’s new Little Dipper™ Microarray Processing System, an automated, robotic system for post-hybridization washing and drying of microarrays”, said Mr. Woongbee Lee, CEO and Managing Director of Woongbee MeDiTech, Inc.
SciGene product lines now available in Korea include: the Little Dipper™ Microarray Processing System; the Hybex® Microarray Incubation System; the Gemini® Twin Shaking Waterbath; and Series 700 Microarray Ovens.
