Robert Ellis Joins SciGene Board of Directors

February 23, 2007, Sunnyvale, CA — Mr. Robert Ellis was recently elected to the board of directors of SciGene, located in Sunnyvale, California. Mr. Ellis is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in developing life science products businesses.

He currently serves as Executive Chairman of Biotrove after having served in the positions of President and CEO. Prior to Biotrove, he was Executive Vice President of Research and Development at Affymetrix.

He has also held various executive and senior management positions at Genometrix, Perkin Elmer, Applied Biosystems and Hewlett-Packard.
