Laboratories that use microarrays as an essential part of their research are frequently challenged with limited laboratory manpower and high start up costs when changing or adding array suppliers. SciGene automates the entire microarray workflow, from sample preparation to slide processing, with instruments that are platform “agnostic”, for use with both commercial arrays (Agilent, Illumina, Roche/NimbleGen, etc.) and custom/self spotted varieties. SciGene’s cross-platform automation delivers a cost-effective solution to replace the error-prone manual steps used when performing analysis of samples for any microarray application. SciGene technology delivers enhanced day-to-day assay reproducibility independent of array platform at a lower cost per sample than manual methods. |

TechnologySciGene provides a family of instruments that work together to automate the workflow used in microarray-based assays from sample isolation and labeling through array hybridization and post-hybridization processing. The ArrayPrep™ Target Preparation System is a reagent handling and incubation platform specially designed for amplifying/labeling and then loading DNA onto microarrays. The Mai Tai® Hybridization System accommodates robotic sample loading and applies bubble mixing technology during incubation of multiple slides for popular commercial array types. The Little Dipper® Processor with NoZone® Workspace automates the washing and drying of slides independent of array density or format in an ozone-safe environment presenting slides ready for scanning. |
