Hyb-Ice Thermal Profiling System*

Hyb-Ice base shown with various tube and slide blocks.

An affordable and flexible alternative to a standard thermal cycler for performing everyday temperature profiles and PCR cycling. System consists of a programmable heating/cooling base and one quick-change block (purchase separately). Select inexpensive blocks for 0.2, 0.6, 1.5 and 2.0 ml tubes or blocks for 96 well PCR, flat-bottom and deep well plates. A microscope slide holder is also available. A non-contact heated lid regulates air temperature above the samples to control condensation.
