About SciGene
SciGene was founded in 2003 following the acquisition of several product lines from Apogent Discoveries totaling over 100 products formerly sold under the Robbins Scientific brand. Products now sold by SciGene include the popular line of rotating ovens for performing microarray hybridizations, FlexChem Chemical Synthesis Systems for high throughput, parallel synthesis of compounds used in drug discovery, Gemini Dual Shaking Waterbaths used in a variety of DNA based diagnostic and research applications.
Independently owned and operated, SciGene manufactures, develops and sells all our products from our Sunnyvale facility. The Company is committed to providing the same high quality products and personal service that customers enjoyed for many years when doing business with Robbins Scientific. SciGene employs several former workers from Robbins Scientific, with many years of experience in the design and manufacture of the products now sold under the SciGene label.
